Dear Canadians, The slide show at the top of the blog is of the beautiful Canadian Rockies. Because I have found Canada to be such a wonderful country, I have visited a number of times. In fact, earlier in my career, I briefly considered emigrating. At that time I was supervising an intern who was here from Canada for her training. From her I learned that with my credentials I could immediately be placed in a high level of employment in Canada. At that time, I was already enchanted with Toronto and so I did think about it. As usual, though, I ended up remembering how in love with the San Franciso Bay Area I was and remain to this day. I have so many pictures placed throughout the blog which I have taken in western and eastern Canada, that it seemed like 'overkill' to put up a Canadian slide show, as has become my tradition for honoring my greatest readerships. I have decided I have been remiss in not acknowledging you, my Canadian friends, who have consistently returned again and again, with the largest number of readers, to my offerings here, 2nd only to my own compatriots, since I began this blog.
Some of the things that I admire about Canada are the physical maintenance and cleanliness of the cities, the cultural appreciation of the arts, the sophistication regarding the field of psychology, the fact that Canadians take care of their elderly citizens and the dignified way that Canada participates in world affairs.
Thank you for your consistent and loyal following of what I write here!
