  1. I love the picture you chose to go with the thought. It brings up images in my mind of my past and how I choose to remember it. Perfect.

  2. It's a wonderful concept...and one I have experienced. The past shapes the present. More difficult to achieve when that past dealt with certain things that could be defined as core values...and having them ripped away.

  3. Dear Divorced and Angry, Welcome to the blog. Yes, this is a great concept, both simple and complex. When it comes to your values being betrayed or the experience of disillusionment of your own close to your heart ideas, the re-building of a strong core can take time. I t can happen though.

  4. Dear Paula ...Id love to believe that rebuilding a strong core can happen.but with a broken soul it's very hard to believe IN.it feels like there's no end to te heart ache and no light at the end of the tunnel

  5. Hi Jess. Have you seen the post I have up called Happiness? It talks about how to handle change. I put it up because it helps me to think this way. Maybe it will help you. I know that when your dreams have been shattered, it is near impossible to imagine feeling joy or anticipation ever again, very hard. I also recommend the author, Pema Chodron; she is wonderful and really helpful when you are in deep emotional pain.
